About

Meet Rachel

I'm Rachel Kling, a Licensed Psychologist-Master in Vermont. My supervisees want more than a signature on a form. They want a steady, knowledgeable presence guiding them through the real work of building a caseload, sharpening clinical judgment, and running a practice that holds up under Blue Cross Blue Shield and Medicaid billing.

I specialize in supervising pre-licensed clinicians, particularly new graduates, working toward licensure while building a private practice. My approach is integrative: we work on intervention and case formulation together, but just as importantly, we work on developing your clinical voice, not mine. You'll build the clinical skill, confidence, and practice infrastructure to move toward licensure and eventual independent practice.

My Approach

Not just case review.

Supervision with me is a structured, ongoing relationship built to support you through the pre-licensure period, as you build the caseload and clinical foundation for the practice you'll run independently once licensed.

01

Clinical formulation

How you conceptualize cases and choose interventions.

02

Finding your voice

Developing a therapeutic style that's genuinely yours, not borrowed.

03

Practical readiness

The administrative and financial realities of running a practice: fee structures, insurance billing, scheduling, and the systems that keep a caseload sustainable.

04

Steady support

Knowing you're not alone when a hard case or a billing problem comes up.

What's Included

What that covers

  • Weekly individual supervision
  • Therapy notes subscription (under my account)
  • Ongoing notes review
  • Billing infrastructure for Blue Cross Blue Shield and Medicaid, through my designated biller. This is required for pre-licensed clinicians, who in Vermont cannot bill independently and must bill under supervision. The biller charges a separate $2.00 per-claim fee, paid directly to them. That charge is distinct from my supervision fee, and I do not receive any portion of it.
  • Support resolving billing issues as they arise
  • After-hours and crisis consultation
Who This Is For

This supervision practice is designed for:

  • Any master's-level clinician in Vermont working toward licensure. New graduates are my focus, and clinicians already partway through their supervised hours are just as welcome
  • Clinicians who want structured clinical guidance and practical business support while accumulating licensure hours
  • Supervisees who need to bill Blue Cross Blue Shield and Medicaid under supervision, as required for pre-licensed clinicians in Vermont
  • Clinicians who want to develop clinical confidence and their own therapeutic identity, not just meet licensure hour requirements
